OKC Museum of Art

Since Rich has taken the week off for a quiet week at home, we have decided to fill our days with simple family activities. Today we spent the (hot) morning at the Zoo. Then we headed Downtown. We took Gwyneth to the Oklahoma City Museum of Art. Rich was especially interested in the special exhibit 'Roman Art from the Louvre'. It was really nice. No photography was allowed in that portion though- all images here are from the other areas of the museum.

A Day at the Splashpad

Today Gwyneth's playdate was at a Splashpad here in town. Basically it is a large concrete pad with water sprinklers everywhere! Gwyneth had a blast as usual. She loves splashpads!

Turner Falls

Rich, Gwyneth and I travelled south today. We went to Turner Falls. It is like a big, natural waterpark. There are beautiful waterfalls. I believe they had a slide and some swings too (didn't pay much attention- as we were looking for more baby friendly options such as the shade and wading). It is a very beautiful area here in Oklahoma.

Big changes!!!

Last night I went into Gwyneth's room to soothe her. She was STANDING in her crib!!! It tickled me dearly. She was standing this morning when I went in to get her too. Of course, I took a picture. I cannot believe all the changes. If you recall she was a roller. In the last two weeks she has started scooting, sitting up on her own, getting on her hands and feet (think: downward facing dog position in yoga) and now pulling up!!! Oh big changes are coming our way. Where did our baby go???

Swimming!!!

I do believe we have a natural on our hands! Today we all got in the pool together. Gwyneth loves the water. She kicks like a pro. Check out the video to see our little swimmer girl in action.
