Five year anniversary!!!

As of yesterday Rich and I have been married for five years (together for seven)!!! Gosh, time flies when your having fun!!! We are going to the Olive Garden tonight to celebrate. Yummy!!!

Easter 2009

Today is Easter. Since we celebrated yesterday, we have just stayed in our pj's today (very rainy day). The girls did get Easter baskets from the Easter Bunny though. Gwyneth LOVED all the chocolate. Now does she get that from her Mommy or her Daddy??? hehe

Easter Celebration

Today was a really great day. We went to Sabrina and Larry's house for an Easter Bar-B-Q. It was great!!! So many ladies, husbands and kiddos from our playgroup were there. The food was fantastic too. Gwyneth got to hunt her very first Easter Eggs. She was so cute. Both Gwyneth and Chloe looked absolutely adorable. Once we came home- Rich, the girls and I took Mimi out to eat pizza at Falcone's. Once done, Rich dropped Pat off at our house. We then attended Easter Vigil Mass at St. Paul Catholic Church. Nice.

Chloe's 6 week appointment

Three shots!!! Boo for that!!! The good news is our little sweetie is growing like a weed- she weighed 9 lbs, 10 oz and was 21 3/4 inches long. Way to grow little girl!!!

Chloe's tongue-clipping

We had Chloe's tongue clipped today. It sounds horrible...but it wasn't too bad. Chloe was tongue tied (meaning the little piece of skin connecting the tongue to the floor of the mouth went all the way to the edge). The result was Chloe not being able to stick her tongue out of her mouth. Possible complications were breastfeeding issues and the risk of a possible speech impediment in the future. Rich and I decided to have it taken care of now. It was a simple procedure- Chloe cried for less than a minute. The doctor simply snipped that skin under the tongue to allow for more mobility. Our little girl must have her Mommy's tolerance for pain, she was happy again in no time!!!

Grandma's visit!!!

Grandma Teri arrived on Saturday, March 21st for a week long visit!!! Gwyneth is having a BLAST playing with Grandma. Teri is great with both the girls. We are so happy to have her in our home and to share the girls with her!!!

Bath time

Gwyneth helped to give Chloe a bath today. I thought these pictures were TOO CUTE not to share!!! The last picture is Gwyneth tasting her sister's water (she did it before I realized). Ewww! That is a curious toddler for ya!!!

First bottle!!!

Chloe got her first baby bottle today. Daddy fed her a bottle of expressed breastmilk. Mmmm good!!!

Sunday, Sunday...

Chloe was three weeks old yesterday. We attended Mass today for the first time as a family of four. After church, we picked up Mimi. We all went to Cracker Barrel for a nice breakfast. On our way home we found Gwyneth an outdoor slide for the backyard. We got a great bargain for it!!! Once we were home, we all gathered outside for some quality family time!!! What an amazing day!!!

Chloe's 2 week appointment

Chloe had her two week appointment today. She weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces (she lost weight once home from the hospital, so she's making up that deficit) and was 20 1/2 inches long!!! Woo-hoo!!!

Gwyneth's 18 month appointment

Gwyneth had her 18 month appointment. She got two shots- which she took like a champ. She weighed 21 pounds and was 32 inches tall!!! What a big girl!!!

Our little glow-worm!!!

Just like her big sister, Chloe is having to do phototherapy for her jaundice. She is a little glow-worm. I cannot wait for the jaundice issues to be resolved so I can hold my baby more (she has to lay on this bed whenever she isn't eating or getting a diaper change)!!!

We are so sick!!! What terrible timing!!! Both Gwyneth and I have relapsed with the colds that we had before Chloe was born. To make matters worse, Gwyneth's has turned into her first ever ear-infection. Whew. It has been some looooong days. However, we have gotten some quality cuddle time the past few days.

Three days old!!!

It is a beautiful day here in Oklahoma!!! Chloe is three days old today. We all decided to hang out in the backyard for a little while. We also took the girls to Wiley Post Park. There Gwyneth got to swing and play for some big-girl time!!! It was nice to get some sunshine and fresh air!
